How will we create the perfect ceremony?

I begin with a consultation and then once you have reviewed all of the details that we send you afterwards, a deposit secures your date and the writing of your personal script begins!

Together we will work through your ideas that you have put forward on the questionnaire and begin to create your ceremony. We will have our meetings in person or via zoom and family members can join in if you wish. If there are items you need to source for the ceremony we will decide how and when to do that together. You will never alone in your planning journey.

Every setting is unique, yet certain key elements are essential when planning your ceremony. I will work with you to ensure the ceremony space is positioned perfectly and that seating is arranged for maximum comfort and visibility—whether that’s in classic rows or something a little more creative! Together, we’ll make sure every guest feels connected to the moment.

My ceremonies are warm, engaging, and relaxed. I love to involve guests and respond naturally to those special, spontaneous moments that unfold. We can preserve all the cherished traditional elements of your ceremony while adding meaningful personal or symbolic touches to make it truly your own.

If you choose me as your celebrant, I’ll guide you through every step of the process to ensure your ceremony is everything you’ve imagined and more. We will begin with an initial meeting to make sure we’re a good fit. If you decide to book, I’ll send you some bespoke questionnaires that will help me get to know you both better, including your love story, your hopes for your wedding day, and what makes you as a couple unique. I’ll then craft a completely personalised ceremony that reflects your journey and the special bond you share. In addition to the ceremony itself, I will liaise with your bridal party, venue team, and any other suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. I can also help with crafting vows, writing readings, and guiding any speeches or declarations you may want to include.

No Rules, No Restrictions

One of the best things about a celebrant-led ceremony is that there are no rules. You don’t have to get married in a licensed venue or a place of worship (although we can collaborate with those if you prefer). The wording of your vows will be unique to you, reflecting your values and love for one another. A traditional civil marriage ceremony, on the other hand, must be strictly secular – no religious readings or spiritual elements allowed. If you’re someone who wants to include a hymn, prayer, or any other religious sentiment in your ceremony, a celebrant-led wedding is the perfect option for you. You also don’t have to worry about restrictions regarding food or drink in the ceremony space – licensed venues often prohibit the sale and consumption of alcohol in the ceremony room.
